@dddjjf haha yeah, DRs can shave a lot off you time though, i would expect very low 12s even mid 11s wouldnt surprise me with this car on drs, hell they ran 11s with an intake and DRs at lethal performance
you know whats funny i have a 2000 chevy camaro and it rides more comfortable then my mom’s 06 mustang, everytime i drive my mothers car i feel like im riding on a damn horse and get car sick bc it jerks you around so damn bad so think again before ya’ll say camaro’s suck at least they’re more comfortable

Comparing Mustangs to Camaros is like Chocolate to Vanilla, it comes down to your personal taste. I have owned both over the years and in my opinion Mustangs are much better quality. Ford, although not perfect, has always been ahead of the game with pony cars and GM has always been trying to catch up. GM had to shut to Camaros for several years just to come up with an answer to the 05 Stanger, now it took Ford just 1 year to answer the new Camaros.
i hope the new camaro Z28 tops the SS
@zzremington Yes, GM did receive a bailout years ago. But look what happened afterwards. The Camaro was in the top sellers & GM was able to pay-off their bailout debt 5 years ahead of it’s due date. When a car is as smoking hot in sales & style as the new Camaro is: Sorry man but the Camaro is going to be hanging around to annoy Ford-lovers like you for a long, long time and those rumors you read about are just that, rumors. Chevy was able to make the monster ZL575 Camaro. It’s that good.
@p4horror The Camaro went belly-up several years ago and was a copy-cat of the Mustang in 1967. Obama may discontinue the Camaro, from the rumors out there. Government Motors will fail.

but, you’re going on dealer markup, which is TRUE, but, I was referring to what Ford themselves were putting them up for, their msrps are 22~ for the 6, and about 28~for the 5.0.
Man-400 HP used to be alot-now cars are coming stock with that much! The trans-ams ans z28s of 10 years ago were FAST-and they had just over 300HP. The viper of 1996 had 450HP–and was a 60k$ car. Now the mustangs, camaros and other much cheaper cars could just about hang with them. This GT would probly beat a stock C5 LS1! Can’t wait to see what’ll happen in another 5 years

the v-6 base is 23900 the v-8 is 39.000 but the dealers have them listed at 43.000

I am a fan of both camaro and mustang. I am a LS1 camoro owner. and I have been tweeking that LS1 for 6 yrs its a fucking monster! the only stock part on the engine is the block and valve covers. Ive raced several shelby super charged GT500′s ive never lost. I wanted to give this mustang a warm welcome. no shelby badges. I love it, just a big 5 OH badge
