Henry Ford, having been rejected by Ferrari, vowed to beat him on the race tracks of the world. It was the spark that ignited what was probably the most exciting era in Ford’s history which began in 1964. When released in Dearborn the GT40 was probably the prettiest racing car ever designed up to that time. The clock measures 14 inches across. The outer lens is made from high quality optical lexan. The advertisement face is cut out by a CNC router and the image is placed with a UV dried computer controlled printing process that will last for many years. The back of the clock is made from black ABS plastic that houses a 22 watt fluorescent circleline bulb with an on/off switch in the cord.
